• Submit a trade or sample enquiry via our contact form
• Send an email to our sales team
• Contact us via WhatsApp or other messaging channels
• Request a meeting at a trade exhibition
• Log into the Lami client portal

Information collected may include: name, company name, email address, phone number, country, product interest, and any brief or specification you choose to share.

We also collect limited information about how this website is used — which pages are read, how long for, and how you reached us. This is first-party analytics that we run ourselves; see Cookies and website analytics below for exactly what is recorded and how to switch it off. We do not collect payment card information through this website, we run no advertising or social media pixels on this site, and we do not share any of this with advertising networks or data brokers. Our separate retail store does use advertising cookies — see Cookies and website analytics.

Information you provide is used solely to:

• Respond to your trade or sample enquiry
• Process and fulfil orders where applicable
• Send product or development updates where you have requested them
• Improve our website and services

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We may share your information with:

• Freight and logistics partners — solely to fulfil shipments you have ordered
• Payment processors — for order payment handling (no card data passes through our website)
• IT service providers — who assist us in operating this website and our systems, subject to confidentiality obligations

We do not transfer your data outside India except as required to fulfil an order to your location or to use cloud services we rely upon for business operations.

We retain enquiry and order information for as long as necessary to fulfil your request and comply with legal obligations (including tax and export record requirements, which may require retention for up to 7 years). This website uses session cookies necessary for basic functionality, including staying signed in to the client portal. This site runs no advertising or social media pixels of its own, and we do not fingerprint your device or track you across other websites.

We do run our own first-party analytics, on our own server, so that we can see how the site is used and reply to enquiries with useful context. It sets two cookies:

• _ltvid — a random identifier that lets us recognise the same browser across visits. Expires after 12 months.
• _ltsid — groups the pages you read into a single visit. Expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.

A third cookie, _ltconsent, simply records your choice below so we do not ask again.

Our retail store is separate. shop.lamitrims.com is a different platform and runs its own analytics and advertising cookies, including a Meta (Facebook) pixel. Because those cookies are set on the shared lamitrims.com domain, you may see one of them — such as _fbp — while browsing this site, even though this site does not set it and does not read it. Manage those through the store’s own cookie controls or your browser settings.

What is recorded: the pages you view and when, roughly how long each page was open, how far down a page you scrolled, clicks on our WhatsApp, email and phone links, whether you began filling in the enquiry form, the website or campaign that referred you, your device type, and the country your IP address resolves to. Your IP address is stored so that we can identify abuse and duplicate submissions.

What is not recorded: we do not log keystrokes, record your screen, capture what you type before you submit it, read your browsing on other websites, or buy data about you from anyone.

Linking this to you: if you submit an enquiry form, or open a personalised link we have emailed you, we connect the browsing described above to the name and company you gave us. This is so that whoever answers your enquiry already understands what you were looking for. We do not attempt to identify visitors who never contact us.

Legal basis and your choice: if you are in the EU, EEA, United Kingdom or Switzerland, nothing is collected until you accept the banner shown on your first visit. Elsewhere, we rely on legitimate interest in understanding how our website performs, and you can decline from the same banner at any time. We honour the Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals automatically — if either is enabled, no analytics data is collected and no banner is shown.

Retention: page-by-page detail is deleted after 180 days. Summary records — visit counts and, where you identified yourself, your enquiry history — are kept for as long as we have a business relationship, and are covered by the deletion right in Your rights.

You can disable cookies entirely in your browser settings; parts of the client portal will stop working if you do.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information you submit to us. Our website is served over HTTPS. However, no internet transmission is entirely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of this website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
